The Ashkelon Foundation places a strong emphasis assisting local non for profits and city wide activities, the Foundation interacts with many different groups consisting of: project participants, employees, volunteers, donors, municipal entities, the community and the dear Ashkelon Foundation friends.

The city of Ashkelon is located in the south of the country on I would like to take this opportunity to congratulate the Ashkelon Foundation and the management for a job well done. Established in 1989, the Foundation has set for itself several prime targets, including the creation of employment resources and the advancement of education, culture, health, absorption and welfare services. Among the Foundation's many projects is the establishment of educational, cultural and healthcare institutions in cooperation with the municipality.
I write to you as a dear friend, I am the former mayor of Ashkelon (1978-1991), and a former Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs (Minister of Parliament 1988-1996). I invite you to visit our city of Ashkelon, meet with me and our current Mayor, Mr. Benny Vaknin, and form a new friendship.
