Family Clubs Child Development at Kalanit Family Club
The David & Ellen Alice Foundation has adopted a family club operated by the Ashkelon Foundation, the family club has been named after the late Alberto Vaknish, who was the founder of the Ashkelon Foundation and was one of the pillars of the foundation.
The chosen family club is the Kalanit Family club, located on Shai Agnon St. in Shimshon neighborhood.
In an official ceremony at the Kalanit family club, with the presence of all the Ellen Alice Foundation members and the Kanish family, the Family club was reopened under its new name.
The adoption enabled the family club to acquire necessary equipment and furniture. Furthermore the foundation attempts to donate an annual contribution to keep maintaining the equipment needed by the instructors of the club for activities.
